Kahplu valley Ghangche district is located in Baltistan division of Gilgit Baltistan .Ghangche district is strategically very important district of Pakistan located at the border of two countries India to south and China to north east. To its northeast is China’s Xinxiang province, to the west is Skardu district, to its south is Ladakh District of Jammu Kashmir India. Gilgit ( گلگت ) is the capital city the of newly created Gilgit District within the Gilgit Baltistan territory. The town's ancient name was Sargin , later to be known as Gilit , and it is still referred to as Gilit or Sargin-Gilit by local people. In the Burushaski language it is named Geelt and in Wakhi and Khowar it is called Gilt . It is capital city of Gilit Baltistan region.   Sulaiman Range ,  mountain mass in central Pakistan, extending southward about 280 miles (450 km) from the Gumal Pass to just north of Jacobabad, separating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab from Balochistan. Its heights gradually decrease toward the south, with summits averaging 6,000–7,000 feet (1,800–2,100 metres), the highest being the twin peaks (30 miles [48 km] from the Gumal Pass) called Takht-i-Sulaiman, or Solomon’s Throne, which legend connects with Solomon’s visit to Hindustan; the higher of the peaks, at 18,481 feet (5,633 metres), is the site of a ziyārat (shrine) visited annually by many pilgrims. Location and Naming Hindukush is a great mountain range in Asia. It crosses Pakistan and Afghanistan. The name Hindu Kush derived from Persian (Farsi) language literally means 'Kills the Hindu' , a reminder of the days when Indian slaves from the Indian subcontinent (who their enslavers referred to as Hindus) died in the harsh weather typical of the Afghan mountains while being transported to Central Asia .It is 800 km long. The Himalaya is a mountain range separating subcontinent from Tibetan plateau. The Himalaya is home to the world's highest peaks. Mount Everest is also here. The Himalayas cross five countries  Pakistan ,India, Nepal, China and Bhutan.
